Thalia studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and, in addition to her singing career, is also active as a music therapist.

Fran Vancoillie is a professional harpist and literary scholar. She teaches in Leuven and conducts research into the interaction between music and literature.

Simon was born in Halle and obtained a degree in percussion from the municipal academy of arts.

He is currently studying composition at the Conservatory of Leuven.

The duo performs Simon’s original compositions, inspired in particular by the music of Adrien-François Servais.

Musical genre: classical music, mainly French impressionism and romantic song.

Concert ‘Le Paysage’

Soprano Thalia De Clercq and harpist Fran Vancoilie will enchant you with works by G. Fauré, C. Debussy and some lesser-known composers from the Netherlands.

Works by composer Simon Thiery will also be on the programme.

Simon Thiery grew up in Halle and studied composition at the Conservatory of Leuven.
